Book three in Justin Cronin’s The Passage Trilogy, The City of Mirrors. I’m only about 30% through but I’m really loving it. The story picks up three years after the events in The Twelve (Book Two) and even though it’s been a while since I read the first two books, Cronin does an excellent job of bringing you back into his world and catching you up on what all of the characters have been up to. We also get a deep dive into the history of the viral Zero and the pre-history of the virus that started the whole saga. The writing is really compelling, can’t wait to finish this one.
Star Trek Voyager on Netflix. Netflix Canada is now streaming ALL of the Star Trek shows and movies, so, you know, I’ll just be over here watching. Not like I’m trying to fill a gaping Game of Thrones hole or anything. But, whatever. Star Trek, man!

World events. Which is probably why I’m spending every spare moment I have these days escaping into fiction. It’s either that or go mad with despair.
I could just go ahead and win the lottery already.
