So, here’s the thing about being an introvert. I live for downtime. I find it relaxing, and rejuvenating. Unfortunately, since I am also a working wife and mother, most of my life is spent running around the whole world serving at everyone’s beck and call, with little downtime left for myself.

But that’s ok. It’s life, I get it. This is one reason why I love Netflix, who understands me down to the very depths of my wannabe hermit soul. I’m in my happy place when I get to sit in a dark room where my kids can’t find me and watch ALL THE THINGS. Netflix no longer asks me if I’m still there, do I want to continue watching?… Of course I’m still there! Play my show and stop asking me silly questions!

Very soon the Thanksgiving long weekend will be here and I will be sitting on my butt with a big’ol glass of wine, at which point me and my Netflix queue will become reaquanted.

My Current Watch List

Founder Netflix Canada

The story behind the origins of the McDonalds fast food chain, from it’s beginnings as a small town restaurant run by two brothers, to the Golden Arches as we know and love them today. Very insightful.

Gerald’s Game

Gerald's Game Netflix Canada

I recently caught the trailer for this and remember being totally freaked out by this book when I read it a million years ago. Looking forward to being freaked out all over again.

Teach Us All

A documentary about segregation and the inequalities of the American school system. Because I apparently want to get myself all riled up about yet another way governments and school boards let children down.

Moana Netflix CanadaBecause this is still the most uplifting Disney movie there is, and I have to watch it a million times before Disney pulls all their films off Netflix, because they’re crazy.

Netflix_StreamTeam_BadgeI’m a member of the Netflix Canada #StreamTeam and receive compensation for these posts in the form of a Netflix membership and streaming device. Of course as always, my opinions are my own. That said, I’m happy to post about Netflix goings-ons because if you know anything about me, it’s that I watch a lot of TV. Like, A LOT. I might have a problem. But I think I’m OK with it.
