I’m a busy woman, I suck at multi-tasking. Let’s face it, we all suck at multi-tasking. That said, I find that binge watching my shows on Netflix goes comfortably hand-in-hand with practicing my calligraphy every evening before it’s time to get this kids to bed. While the kids are watching their shows or reading their books, I’m putting dip pen to paper and getting my calligraphy practice in. Quotes, poems, music lyrics, or even good old journal entries. All while Annalise lawyers it up all over the place. This is a surefire way for me to calm my mind after a busy day of working and moming.
Currently I’m watching:
There’s a crossover episode coming in a few months with Scandal, so I’ve got to get caught up on Annalise’s shenanigans before that happens.
I could tell you that this one is all for the Peanut who oftentimes calls me Princess Poppy because he loves both her, and me, so much. But truth is, I really liked the Trolls movie and this show has all new songs in it…. so…. yeah. Yay Trolls!
I was expecting a police procedural, but what I got was so much more. This is a really great take on how an FBI profiler helped track down the Unibomber. I remember hearing all about the Unibomber in the news while he was still on the loose (I’m showing my age here) but this side of the story is beautifully told. I hope they do more seasons of Manhunt with featuring other Unibomber-type cases because this one was really good.
A fascinating documentary on where our food comes from. Insight on a few industries out there where not only animal welfare is looked at, but business practices, monopolies, worker welfare and the quality of our food is all just numbers in someone’s spreadsheet.
On my To Watch list:
Something about “sleeve” bodies and living forever… I don’t know. Whatever. Sounds good to me. I’m all in. Coming Feb. 2nd.
“From crippling payday loans to cars that cheat emissions tests, this investigative series exposes brazen acts of corporate greed and corruption.” This is the kind of stuff you just don’t hear about on the evening news. This is streaming now, but I’ve got all the stuff above to get through first, so this one stays on the list for now.
